Earlier this month, PEFC held its 22nd Annual General Meeting in London. The Board and Secretariat always look forward to this event as it provides an opportunity for us to meet our members face to face.

Our guest speaker at this year’s AGM was Soil Association’s Responsible Sourcing Manger and PEFC UK Director, Maggie Fitzherbert. Maggie’s timely presentation entitled Preparing for EUDR, aimed to give certificate holders a heads up on the recently introduced EU Deforestation Regulation and how PEFC Chain of Custody certification could help demonstrate compliance.
