PEFC UK is sponsoring the Education Project at the Structural Timber Awards.

Published on 26 March 2015

The inaugural Awards will be presented at a high profile dinner on Tuesday 06 October 2015 at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham. The event is set to attract 500 national business leaders and high profile decision makers from the construction industry.

The Awards will be taking place during UK Construction Week where nine construction-related shows will take place at the Birmingham NEC over the week, including the hugely successful Grand Designs Live, Timber Expo, the Build Show, the Surface and Materials Show, Kitchens & Bathroom Live, Plant & Machinery Live, Energy 2015, HVAC 2015 and Smart Buildings 2015.
Across key sectors of construction, the Structural Timber Awards will showcase innovation, celebrate best practice and recognise expertise in timber technology and the ways it contributes to an attractive, energy efficient and sustainable built environment. The awards are open to public and private organisations and projects either of which must be located in the UK and whose business/project is related to structural timber.
The Education Category will celebrate a newbuild or refurbishment, scheme that has used timber technology to create a vibrant learning space for students and staff – this could be a nursery, school, university, college or facility catering for specialist needs.
