PEFC UK held our Annual Stakeholder meeting in London on 4th July.
Our four speakers came from around the world and each gave a presentation with the focus on "Delivering Impacts in the Forest"
Dr Melvin Gumal, from the wildlife conservation society-Malaysia Department spoke of the habitats in tropical forests.
Dr Mark Johnson, a senior research scientist in the Saskatchewan Research Council's Environment Division and adjunct professor at the University of Saskatchewan spoke of SFI certified forests and carbon capture.
Ana Rengifo Abbad, a biologist, spoke of her project management responsibility of a PEFC certified estate in Monfrague National park.
Andrew Heald, the technical director for Confor spoke of biodiversity and UK forestry and the impact on our future generations.
