New PEFC Notification Scheme

Scale of Tariff for Notification Fees for the UK: (plus VAT)
Annual notification fees for Organisations with Chain of Custody Certification
With effect from 1st February 2007
1 Very small organisations Less than £1 Million £100
2 Small and Medium organisations Over £1 million and below £10 Million £300
3 Large organisations Over £10 million and below £100 Million £500
4 Very large organisations Over £100 million £750
Multi-site certificates will be based on the gross turnover of the business
• PEFC UK have also agreed that once a certified Chain of Custody holder has become notified that this will entitle them to become members of PEFC UK and also enter in a separate logo licence agreement, at no additional cost, subject the certificate holder applying to PEFC UK to enter or renew an existing contract.
• In relation to the calculation of turnover for agents handling product the definition of turnover will be based upon the gross value of the product handled.
• During the transition period of 2007, Chain of Custody certificate holders who are Members of PEFC UK Ltd and / or Logo Licence holders, issued through PEFC UK Ltd, can reclaim previously paid fees, if they are in excess of 6 months valid membership or logo usage. To arrange for this refund the holder should contact PEFC UK Ltd.
