The 2016 Structural Timber Awards are set to be bigger than ever and the 30 June deadline is looming. With two new additional award categories and a judging panel made up of renowned industry experts – the organising team are preparing to receive a record number of entries as the awards grow in recognition and prestige. Organisers say the deadline will not be extended.
The Structural Timber Awards will reward outstanding projects, innovative products and dynamic people – all promoting excellence in structural timber in the UK. The Best Education Project will once again be sponsored by PEFC. Across key sectors of construction, the Awards will showcase innovation, celebrate best practice and recognise expertise in timber technology and the ways it contributes to an attractive, energy efficient and sustainable built environment.
The 2016 Awards will be presented at a high profile dinner on 19 October 2016 at The National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham – alongside Timber Expo 2016 and UK Construction Week.
