NEC, Birmingham 24-25 September 2013 - Timber Expo brings the timber industry together under one roof. More than 4,000 visitors, including architects, engineers, contractors and local authorities, attended in 2012. PEFC UK will be partnering with fellow PEFC members SFI and MTC to explain Chain of Custody certification and the benefits of sourcing timber from sustainably managed forests. As a timber showcase for construction and sustainable building design, the exhibition will seek to bring all of the complex supply-chain elements together in a comprehensive way. It will give visitors an opportunity to see and hear about the strengths of timber and understand how it can deliver an effective, more attractive and sustainable built environment.
